I have been reading the Harry Potter series since the summer of 2000. I was working in a very lovely library and, made curious by the sensation they had caused, I took the books out in turn and read them, all in a row, finishing with Goblet of Fire, which had just been released. My reserved copy arrived in the library for me the day I finished Prisoner of Azkaban, during my lunch break. I finished reading GoF at 4:00 in the morning with tears streaming down my face (a scene replicated to the hour the second time I read it). I have seen each of the movies on their opening days (and several midnight openings), and all of them more than once in the theatre.
I absolutely adore the Harry Potter world and am heartbroken that the series shall finally end.
