AUGUREYThis is a featured page

This vulture type creature, also known as Irish Phoenix, is described as small, underfed, and mournful and shy.

The Augurey is greenish black in colour and are found in Britain and Ireland and sometimes Northern Europe. It lives in a tear-shaped nest that is usually found in a bramble or thorn patch. They usually only leave their nests in heavy rain, to feed.

Augureys were once thought to foretell death with their low wailing cry, but we have found out, most recently, that their cries usually foretell bad weather and have since been used as household pets. Due to the general wetness of British weather, their almost continuous wailing is during the winter months is very hard to stand.
