Hybrid creatures bred by Hagrid (cross between fire-crabs and manticores). They lack heads, smells like rotten fish, have multiple legs, and sparks fly out of their ends making them difficult to handle. It is believed that male skrewts have stingers while the females have blood-suckers on their bellies.
