On the day the seventh book came out, I had to be at a family reunion in the middle of NOWHERE. The nearest bookstore was over 30 miles away. So my uncle ordered the books through Amazon adn we were able to start reading it the night it came out. The night before it came out, we went to see the fifth movie with some home-made sciving snackboxes and chocolate frogs.

I got to the store at 1pm Friday, and was there all day. But then, when I got in line, I was 6th to get my book, because a bunch of people cut in front of me. Luckily, the line was fast, and I got my book at 12:03!

Right after I got the book(wich took me hours to get)2 more lanes opened !I was so mad!

my friend and i waited for three hours to get our book. we enjoyed all the festivities, made wands, played quidditch, got sorted by the sorting hat and then counted down to midnight. there were at least 100 people ahead of us, and our local bookstore wasn't too organized. so 15 mintues after the books went on sale, my friend and i got really impatient so we walked next door to the safeway and purchased our book there.

We got to B&N around 9pm and were sittin'and readin',not approached by any employees, no announcement was made. 11pm cames around and we see a guy with a wrist band on and we ask why. We had to go get in line for a wrist band so they could keep track of people vs. books, so we get in line. Firstly let me tell you the B&N has 2 entrances and the tables were only at one(not the one who came in at) and noone told us about them. Moving on...We're in line for almost an hour(it's not 12am yet), when B&N kickes everyone out who doesn't have a wrist band. &$#!@*?{.........So we head home and hit a Walmart on the way and were in line for half an hour(don't worry I doubt they outsourced the making of the books sold in walmarts). Walmart, you dirty dirty lady you saved me this time, and I thak you.
