CHIZPURFLE

Chizpurfle are tiny, crab-like creature with large fangs that primarily feed on magic, but have also been known to feed on electricity when no magic is available. They grow to be about a twentieth of an inch high. They like to infest Augureys and Crups like a fleas to a dog.

They do not pose a threat unless they gorge on to much magic, such as by chewing a magic wand to the core or by getting into dirty cauldrons and eating the last of a potion residue.
