'HARRY POTTER AND THE Pilosopher's'S STONE'

It's one of my favorite books in the series because...

  • IT introduces us to the characters of Ron, Harry, Hermionne and the rest that we grow to love.
  • It also does a great job of settin the backstory of the Potters and Voldemort.
  • First sight of Hogwarts; a new world; the castle, paintings, moving stairs, floating candles in the Great Hall, and the food!



It's one of my least favorite books in the series because...

They botched the scene in the movie version where...

  • Olivander's wand shop was such an amazing set and the camera was kept so tight that we didn't get to see it! Very disappointing.

  • Quirrel dies. Harry doesn't see Quirrel die in the book; he's passed out.



I wish they had filmed the part in the book where...
